Field No.4 Organic Fine Grade Lawn Dressing

What is it?

Finely graded <4mm lawn dressing manufactured from composted organic material in accordance with BSI PAS100 (2018).

What does it do?

Provides a valuable source of organic nutrients and soil organic matter for the establishment and maintenance of a healthy lawn.

What are the benefits?

Field No.4 returns provides a valuable source of organic matter.
Field No.4 improves the soils ability to hold on to water making your lawn more resilient to drought conditions.
Field No.4 provides a slow release of nutrients that grass and plant species need to grow.
Field No.4 helps to suppress soil borne diseases, resulting in a healthier lawn.
Field No.4 improves the rooting of grass seed and provides a denser more verdant sward.

How do you use it?

For best results use in the spring (March - May) or in the autumn (September - October).

First scarify and aerate the lawn, taking care to remove any thatch or weeds.

Sow an appropriate grass seed mix to match the existing lawn.

Apply 5 – 10mm of Field No.4 then brush into the grass and water in.

Avoid over watering as puddling and water logging will be detrimental.

Excellent product, each bag goes a long way. Our soil is awful after years of neglect from the previous owner, so some nutrients were badly needed. This really helped the grass get going after the autumn renovation. Opted for individual bags so I could more easily transport to the back garden. Delivery was great - right on the driveway, exactly where I wanted it, no spillage, no loss of product (unlike some other sellers who deliver to curbside and didn't care at all that several bags were ripped and had lost product in transit). I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this company again. The only reason I won't be buying more in Spring is because I had so much left over from Autumn that I don't need to order more yet.

Third year using this product and never dissappointed. Product is rich, black and consistent in size. You really can just brush or back side of rake it direct onto your lawn. 2 weeks later it should be completely invisible. I use the 1500l bag for around 280m2 which is on the lower side of coverage. In particular this time I phoned up and spoke to Elly who arrange delivery for a specific day 2 weeks in advance. Try doing that with other online only retailers. While ever the quality stays the same and I have a lawn, I will always because customer.
